A day in the vineyard

The old 12 km towpath connecting Nantes to Vertou offers walkers and cyclists a protected route along the river. Today, the Chaussée des Moines is very much alive, and many activities are offered there: river trips, restaurants, bicycle rental ...

I love Muscadet !

Walk along the Chaussée des Moines along the Sèvre Nantaise. At the racecourse, a chain ferry takes you to the Château de la Frémoire. When you get to the bank, you can go directly to the slope that leads to the castle or stroll through the park. Either way, the ascent will be rewarded with a tasting of the best Muscadet and seafood.

By bike from Vertou

Continuation of the program, we move a little, by bike: several loops are possible from the Chaussée des Moines from 10 to 52 kilometers for the most nervous.
No bike on the trunk? Do not panic ! Possibility to rent directly on site from the rental company Bel Abord, which also offers tasting loops if your heart tells you ...
Ideas of sites to discover: the Touffou forest, the Caffino site in Maisdon-sur-Sèvre, the Belvédère de Château-Thébaud ...

By boat on the Sèvre

Cooler, renting an electric boat to navigate the Sèvre. Always from the Chaussée des Moines: crossing of the typical Vertavien district of Portillon, the Château du Coing, La Cantrie and La Haie-Fouassière.

"Muscadet I like you" evening

With family or friends, take a picnic aperitif to meet a winegrower who will make you taste his wine.
Departures on Thursdays and Fridays with Naow Excursions.
